Ethan Bell is the visionary behind Sonic Bloom Studios. With over 15 years of experience in audio engineering and music production, Ethan brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to every project. Before founding Sonic Bloom, Ethan worked with renowned artists and studios across the country, honing his skills and developing a deep understanding of the recording process. His expertise spans a wide range of genres, from rock and pop to country and hip-hop. Ethan is committed to creating a supportive and inspiring environment where artists can realize their creative vision. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Technology from the University of Texas at Austin. Beyond the studio, Ethan enjoys playing guitar, attending live music events, and exploring the vibrant culinary scene in Austin.

Olivia Rodriguez

Studio Manager & Audio Technician

Olivia Rodriguez is the Studio Manager and an invaluable Audio Technician at Sonic Bloom Studios. She ensures the smooth operation of the studio and provides technical support to artists and engineers. Olivia's organizational skills and attention to detail are second to none. She is responsible for managing bookings, coordinating sessions, and maintaining the studio's equipment. With a background in electrical engineering and a passion for music, Olivia is adept at troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring the studio's equipment is always in optimal condition. She is also a skilled audio technician, assisting engineers with setup and recording. Olivia holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. In her free time, Olivia enjoys hiking, coding, and attending tech conferences.

Jacob Miller

Assistant Engineer & Mastering Specialist

Jacob Miller is the Assistant Engineer and Mastering Specialist at Sonic Bloom Studios. He brings a fresh perspective and a keen ear to the team. Jacob is responsible for assisting with recording sessions, setting up equipment, and providing technical support to engineers and artists. He is also a skilled mastering engineer, ensuring that every track sounds its best before release. Jacob is passionate about music and dedicated to helping artists achieve their sonic goals. He is proficient in a variety of mastering techniques and utilizes cutting-edge software to enhance the quality of recordings. Jacob holds a diploma in Audio Production from the Austin Academy of Music. Outside of the studio, Jacob enjoys playing drums, producing electronic music, and exploring new audio technologies.

Our History

Sonic Bloom Studios was founded in 2018 by Ethan Bell, a seasoned audio engineer with a vision to create a world-class recording facility in the heart of Austin, Texas. Ethan recognized the need for a studio that not only offered state-of-the-art equipment but also provided a comfortable and inspiring environment for artists of all genres.

The studio's initial location was a modest space in East Austin, but Ethan's dedication to quality and customer satisfaction quickly attracted a loyal clientele. Word of mouth spread, and Sonic Bloom Studios soon became known for its exceptional sound, friendly atmosphere, and commitment to helping artists achieve their creative goals.

In 2022, Sonic Bloom Studios expanded to its current location on Barton Creek Boulevard, a spacious and modern facility designed to meet the growing demands of Austin's vibrant music scene. The new studio features three meticulously designed recording spaces, a comfortable lounge area, and a dedicated mastering suite. The expansion allowed Sonic Bloom to offer a wider range of services, including recording, mixing, mastering, voice-over recording, and podcast production.

Over the years, Sonic Bloom Studios has had the privilege of working with a diverse array of artists, from established musicians to emerging talents. The studio has been involved in countless successful projects, including albums, singles, EPs, podcasts, and voice-over recordings. Sonic Bloom's commitment to excellence has earned it a reputation as one of Austin's premier recording destinations.
